City History
Jisr al-Shughur (جسر الشغور) is a historic city situated on the banks of the Orontes River in Idlib Governorate, northwest Syria. Known for its natural beauty, the city is surrounded by olive groves and the famous Orontes bridges.
The city has a rich heritage as an agricultural and commercial center, with a warm and welcoming community that has persevered through generations.
